    I saw an ad Sunday for this service in my local newspaper. As of right now it's only available to Alltel customers that live in the Tri-Cities, TN/VA area. Hopefully Alltel will launch this service to all their markets in the near future.

    Thanks for the info. That's an interesting, and good service they offer. Of course, their minute usage estimates have to be accurate in order for this to work. I wonder how accurate it would be when one spends a majority of a month roaming on other carriers.

    still in testing but coming soon nationwide as faras accuracy of minutes... typically runs 24 hrs behind even when roaming

    That depends on when the carriers bill Alltel for the roaming. I imagine that, with Verizon, it probably is about 24 hours behind, with other, smaller carriers it may be less up-to-date.
