I needed my faulty phone to be replaced. I go last Wednesday. The "Tech" needed to replace the "corn-chip" (aka long fake) nails. Very unprofessional, all while telling me "You shouldn't mess with your phone" because I turned location off. So, they had to order me a "new" a920. I told her I've been happy with the service and she goes "That's surprising, coverage during a merger sucks. I was with ATT before and it was worthless." Nice way to say Sprint's coverage sucks! I go back today. They keep asking me "did you break your phone?". I told them to check the damn service request, as it was getting rediculous. So I get the new phone (much more solid). I ask about a phone book transfer, "Umm....well that will take over one hour or so". It takes a freaking minute! There were OVER 9 employees there, several doing nothing. They told me their only tech (nail girl) was really behind. Sad, but Verizon looks very professional, and Cingular seems very friendly compared to Sprint. Oh...and every employee used Nextel! This is a former Sprint PCS store too. I'm writing corporate. I just don't think the corporate climate isn't anywhere near the professional level of Verizon or even Cingular!
Sounds like you got a bad store... is there another in your area? I myself am an employee and I assure you I've never heard of service like that. Perhaps you should write corp. but keep in mind that the store you went to is just one of many. Good Luck
Yes, there's another one nearby. Sprint really needs at least one corporate store in mid-Delaware! I'll definitely try the other store next time. This store was too unprofessional and frankly lazy.
Agreed, the Westminster, CA store was/is great. I need to find a store like that in Vegas/Henderson. The one by the Galleria Mall in Henderson isn't the most knowledgeable, but they are nice.
That's the one I was talking about! It's not the closest store to me but I find the employees there the most helpful and knowledgeable.
I need to find a decent one around Phoenix. The Tempe location is terrible and the Mesa location, while not too bad, usually has a 30+ minute wait.
Have you tried that store next to the big mall off I-17? Can't remember exactly where it was but I've been there twice a few years back. Actually got a software update there for my brother's old Sanyo 4900.
I have not...I am not usually over on that side of town, but the next time I am I will have to investigate.
When I did my snooping around Sprint a couple of days ago, I had hideous luck @ the Ray & I-10 location in Chandler, as well as the Chandler @ 101 in Chandler. I had a good visit w/ the new Sprint Store @ Gilbert @ the 202 next to Fatburger. They weren't busy @ all and took the time to answer my questions, even though they knew upfront I was just on a fact-finding mission!!! HTH!!!
And when I'm bussy at work the thing I like to do is help some one who isn't going to buy a thing. Their are some crummy stores out their (goes for any carrier), but a good tech department is very hard to find.
I never have a problem w/ my phone(s) and/or my service, so I never have to go into a store!!!:browani: I shop online & bingo bango... it's all good!!!:lmao:
Wow! I can't believe anyone would run such an awful store.. I just checked out our local store and the service was good, although the salesman seemed a little clingy... I'd go back, though..
If they aren't knowledgeable .... what the are they doing working for that carrier! What ever happened to the days where you spent the first 2 weeks in training....
