Would Verizon let me switch to FreeUp?

    [​IMG] I just signed up with Verizon's local $25 plan, only wanting a cell phone for brief calls and emergencies. While I am very pleased with the quality of the service and my phone, I realize now that the FreeUp prepaid service would be a better value for the same amount of money. Do I have to wait until my contract is up to change?

    Depending on how long ago you signed up, you might be able to get out of the contract by returning the phone to the store and cancelling the service. I think they have atleast a 7 day return period, possibly more.
