Worth it to change from ATT to Cingular cell?

    I currently have a ATT phone and was considering switching to Cingular for no particular reason other than Roll Over minutes. Are there any other benefits to switch to Cingular? I want to make sure it is worth buying a new phone.

    You should now be a Cingular customer now.

    Most local retailers are now Cingular stores. If you signon to a new contract they will give up a phone upgrade and a plan with rollover.

    If you think Cingular plans are worth the switch, then go ahead. Otherwise, if your rate plan on AT&T is significantly better than what Cingular has, then I would stay put.

    sometimes the blue plans were better than what cing. is offering now

    As said before by others Blue is usually better with the plans, it is a good idea to research the 2 compariable plans, Cingular Blue plans have more mins and have incoming SMS, where Orange you pay for incoming & outgoing SMS as well as less min plans, yet they have rollover where Blue doesn't.
