World surprised: Apple iPhone is actually really good
Posted on Fri, 15 Feb 2008 10:31:29 CST | by Luigi Lugmayr

The Apple iPhone is in user’s hands now for about 8 months. Hard evidence is appearing that the iPhone is possibly the best mobile experience currently available.

Google reports that 50x more search requests coming from Apple iPhones than any other mobile handset. This is dramatic evidence that searching and surfing the web really works on the iPhone.

EETimes reports about a panel discussion at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona has been apparently been also stumped at the success of the iPhone.
Apparently a study said that 77% of iPhone owners are "very satisfied".

In the comments of the EETimes article are some very true statements that the Apple competition is not understanding what Apple is doing and why the rule the portable music player market and why the eventually could rule the mobile device space.
The key is not individual features but the sum of it all and how they create an experience for the user.

So when Apple is putting some 3G into the iPhone and makes it maybe a bit smaller I will become a "very satisfied" iPhone owner too.
iPhone available on the Apple Store.

yea id say 98% of iphone owners ive met really like it. the ones that dont, usually have problems figuring out how to operate it, or are a bit frustrated by the data rates. but with the abundance of WiFi's now days, the speed issues are easily avoided with a little knowledge.

yeah.......my only complaint was the keyboard but i sat down with my friends the one day and i like how the builtin software corrected the words based on oh well "n" is next to "b" so this is what he was prolli trying to say.........that was definitely a strong point in its favor.........although i have to say the EDGE was disappointing...........if the iPhone goes 3G and I get another job to be able to afford the $80 bill then i would definitely go for it.................

The iPhone plan you're talking about is just a different version of the popular $40 plan + MediaMax 200 which is another $20. Add the tax and you end up at around $71 dollars. That's exactly what I pay and I don't have an iPhone. However, in states where taxes are higher you can pay a little more.

yeah but having SERO at $30 a month and getting everything really isnt healthy.........cuz then when you switch to the iPhone you have to pay $80 for everything and I can't budget that in which is why SERO is so convenient

honstly no one can say that the iPhone is the most satisfying mobile experience..........but statistics show that most of the customers that got the iPhone were very satisfied........and if they weren't its because they didnt understand how to work it
