This is a warning about WirelessGalaxy.com also known as cellphonecarnival.com I recently placed an order for a great deal: Motorola V60 for $0 and $14.99 shipping. After putting in my credit card info I received an email delivery confirmation from them for the $14.99 price. After not hearing from them for 2 days. I started the inquiry. Below are the emails. So far they don't intend to honor the special price. Does anyone have similar experience? What are my options beside reposting them to bbb?

    START of emails:

    To: customerservice@wirelessgalaxy.com

It has been 2 days since my order was placed. I have not received any shipping status. Please confirm order and when I can expect my order. See info from my confirmation email I received from you below:

    Dear Christopher,
The order that you placed with cell phone carnival was erased. There was a computer error and showed the price of the phone for free which isn’t the case if you would like the phone all you need to do is go back to cell phone carnival and make another for the amount listed and we will go ahead and process the order
In case you have further questions don't hesitate to let me know. Hope you have a great week!
    Best of Regards,

    Nikki/Shahbaz,

Are you telling me you are not legally obligated to provide the phone for $14.99? Even after I received a confirmation email and made screen shots of your web page showing the price before you changed it? Please have a manager verify this as I will need an official denial before taking my next step. I will certainly provide feedback on various blogs and my favorite web site clarkhoward.com (already posted some info on this situation). Please reconsider as this decision could cost you a lot more in public opinion/feedback ratings. I did not attempt to profit or be opportunistic by making multiple orders. I certainly expected this to offer to be honored since many sites offer free products and make the profit up on the shipping and handling. I await your/managers response.

    Thanks

    Chris Parillo

    Dear Mr. Parrillo,
Thank you for writing us. The answer to your question, no, we are not
legally bound to process this order because no funds were offered or
monetory exchange occured. We did not attempt to charge your card for this
order. The 14.99 showing as a balance on your order is for shipping charges.
The zero dollar price was a momentary glitch in our system that was fixed.
The current price is at 83.99. If you would like, I can process this order
and get it shipped to you at that sales price. We wont charge you any
shipping charges to cover you for your inconvenience. Let me know if you
    would like us to proceed?
    Regards,

    Shabaz

No Thanks. I'll proceed with my other course of action. Be prepared for negative fall out from the blogging and consumer communities. I'll also research and contact your state BBB and Attorney General.

Yeah they are not legally bound to it. I'm sure there is some disclaimer buried deep in their website. Same thing happened to me with circuitcity.com. I placed an order for a specific laptop. It was the best price, the equivalent was 200 more at best buy. Placed the order, waited for it to come, except I did recieve one. It was a completely different in features and far inferior then the description. I went back to website to check my order to make sure. The model number was the same. But now this time the exact same url that had the one I wanted to purchase had an entirely different picture and the same crappy computer I recieved instead of the one that was previously on there. I called them and they acted like they did nothing wrong. I wished I would have printed the screen or something. It wasn't human error on my part that is for sure. I am no idiot. Until I read in the disclaimer....Circuit City is not resposible for website glitches or errors in pricing or description. Orders can be cancelled or changed by Circuit City. That's the translation anyway. I returned the computer all together. That was the last time I bought something off circuitcity.com.
