Wireless store sales quotas?

    Was wondering what was the number of sales people here had to sell at the store they worked at. (just curious).

    i worked at a best buy for a year in wireless. didnt have to sell per say, but there was tremendous pressure to meet our "daily sales goal". we werent on comission but we might as well have been. there are hourly report cards that come out telling us how far we are behind on total $, accessory sales and service plans.

    when i worked for cingular it varied. one month was 35 then, 50, then 75. those nut cases just kept uping it. Guess they diddnt want to pay commission !

    I could see 35 and 50, but 75 seems steep.....you must have been making them broke from all the commission you got off them [​IMG]

    At the VZW store I work at it's 79 per rep. Not to mention there are upgrade quotas/data/$59+ rate plan/accessory ratios that are also required.

    yea same deal at cingular but they diddnt have the customer load to back up that number. however the last time i saw at a local verizon store near me the quota was 110 per rep

    I wonder what ATT is at (I'm waiting on a call back next monday to see if I got a job there or not).

    50 with awe. you also need 3 other categories. revenue per postpaid 35$, accessories per oppertunity 35$ and addon features varies. good benefits crazy changes lately. if you start as a sales rep you will prob lose money every year due to commission restructuring, and to move up in the co you need to move to jersey or washington state just fyi
