On alltel's $5.95 data plan, do nights and weekends count against your minutes?

It will use your night and weekend minutes. For $10 more you can get unlimted data minutes and use the web whenever you want.

So (and a few other posts have confused me) if I have unlimited nights and weekends on my plan the $5.95 data add on still uses minutes, correct?

    Thanks

Yes, the $5.99 Axcess Web allows you to surf the mobile web on your phone. With this feature alone you will use the minutes from whatever timeframe you are in.

For example, if you use it after 9PM or on a Saturday, it will come from your unlimited night/weekend bucket of minutes. If you use it at 8AM on a Monday, it will come out of your anytime (daytime) minutes. If you have Alltel's 7 for $7 feature, you will have nights starting at 7PM, instead of 9PM, so there's two extra hours of unlimited minutes.

Otherwise, like Ironwalt says, you can add the $10 Axcess Minutes feature to have unlimited minutes all the time for using Axcess Web.
