You're actually pretty correct on that. I woulda bet you money that Florida was going to wipe the floor with FSU and I'm a Seminole fan. FSU has just been a little over rated the past 2 years cause they just aren't as good as the polls say they are and this is coming from a FSU fan. All I can say man is people better start watching out for Florida come next year.

I think FSU will be better next year too...but as long as Rix is QB there is always the chance for disaster.

You may be right ... I'm just ready to see Rix go. He's never really impressed me because he'll play good then turn right around and plan horrible. Just too unpredictable bottom line.

 

I haven't been down to LA proper in a long time but I like So. Cal just as much as Northern Cali. I was changing planes at LAX in May so that was my last glimpse of the area lol. San Diego is great and I liked my visit to La Jolla a few years ago. Other than that, I try to avoid the lengthy trip down I-5 or 101 to LA. My parents and I prefer to fly but I'm almost out of college so I'll stop by down there when I have a chance some time.

Are you guys down in San Fernando still trying to become your own county?

 

Hey Tony and Shores...I've never been to Cali...nor do I know anyone there. What do you guys think about getting Schwartzenegger as governor? What did Davis do that the people hate him now?

I HATE politics....I'm not trying to go that route here.....just a couple curious questions. How are you guys gonna like a "movie star" for a governor...LoL..

I'm not in radio, but very INTO it.....Z95 was my favorite station (as was many people) here in the Chicago area growing up, but vanished in poor management back in.....oooooo...1991. It was a very popular Top-40 station of the 80's and, well, 1990-91. Many people to this day would love to see this station (as well as my other icon, 1035 The Blaze!) resurrected, but that will never happen. Without delving too deeply into politics, let me just say that Davis was blamed for the sour economy, the horrendous deficit, and the energy crisis... Schwarzenegger can't be too much worse than Davis.

 

Ahhh..yes the house scene back then....I was in my teens....I remember going shopping for my "cassingles" and "house" tapes...LoL....then blaring the music from my tape deck in my old '88 Chevy Cavalier

 

JJSeminole, AnthroMatt I care not for your discussions of FSU & Florida... all I have to say is KSU over OU 35-7 in the Big XII Championship game. Finally... third time's the charm, I guess.

 

I'm finishing college abroad at the moment so I haven't been back home in Cali since the summer break but I think it's about time something changed in my home state. If the Democrats can't fix the (mostly economic) problems that Cali is having, then I think it's fair to let Arnie and the Republicans have a shot at it.

Other than that, I avoid politics since I don't prefer the Democrats or the Republicans. I prefer to be an Independent . So give it some time and we'll see how things work out in Cali.

 

Anytime OU loses I am a happy man. And I hope KSU crushes OSU in the Fiesta Bowl.

 

I'm with AnthroMatt on that one I hope K State kills them in the fiesta bowl.
