First post in the these forums. I just got got Verizon a couple of weeks ago and I was wondering if there is any inside info on the Droid or Eris being offered for free in the next month. I got a Samsung Saga for free and it's crap. Thanks in advance.

I highly doubt it. Both the Droid and Eris are too new to be offered for free. The Eris could be discounted further from its current $100 price, but the Droid will not be given away for free, unless VZ does another "BOGO" free offer. Even so that still requires 2 lines.

If a "Droid 2" comes out, that's when the original Droid could be next to nothing in price, much like the original BB Storm after the Storm 2 came out.

Thanks Mike. Just hoping I could catch a deal. I'll just gave to drop the money for a Droid before my 30 days are up.
