I was on MidWest Wireless but when Alltel bought them out I got put on Alltel. Well my last RAZR Redquit on me so they sent me a replacement phone. This new phone is set up for Alltel with the CellTop and what not. I know I have a V3 but I don' t know what version I have. If I bought MPT from amazon will it still connect to my phone?

Odds are you got a v3a from Alltel now. I don't believe they sell the v3m anymore. It's more or less the same phone just a little more stripped down from my understanding but yes MPT should work fine with it. Peace

The Alltel models work fine with MPT, but there are known issues trying to get Verizon or Sprint models to work with the software.
