Will I lose coverage with VZW/Altel merger?

    I live in Georgetown County South Carolina. Verizon operates a CDMA 1900 and Altel operates a CDMA 850 and 1900 network. I am a Verizon customer but frequently I am using Altel's network (not sure if I am on the 850 or 1900 band). After the merger will Verizon be forced to divest one or both frequencies that Altell uses and will this reduce my signal availability?

    My 2 year contract is up in March and by then hopefully I will have enough info to decide if I have to switch carriers.

    Well I hope it all turns out ok for me, because I live right near a divest border near Gaffney SC,
    and if my area gets divested (which it is required) it'll be all screwed up.
    Alltel 114 & 116 belong together :)
