Since there will be no more new ATT customers, will the original ATT customers cell phone's get the same service as Cingular? I was told that Cingular phones now also use ATT towers, but does this apply for the other way around?
Yes, both carriers can roam onto each others networks. If you have a national plan, you should be fine nationwide, regardless of what the phone says. If you're local, stay within your coverage area, and you should be fine for roaming. Pritesh
The only area's I know that us Blue customers can't roam on an Orange system is in the JV area's, at least here in the NY/NJ area we can't since they are listed as T-Mobile area's on a network search, don't know about the CA/NV JV area's. Orange customers can use both networks around here though. Anywhere else in the country yes you can as siliconvalley785, stated.
i am in a market that only had blue service, the closest orange was about 100 miles away, but i get better coverage in the same areas usu=ing the same phone Nokia 3200 but a cing. sim card
