Why no downloadable ringtones for non-Nokias phones?

    Why does Cingular and SunCom not support downloadable ringtones for phones other than Nokia? I have Ericsson T60d and from my understanding this phone is capable to receive ringtones through SMS'!?? Am I wrong?
