I've purchased phone/service from both attwireless.com and Verizonwireless.com, ive noticed Verizon takes a longer time.

Does verizon do more business online than attws?

    Just curious.

there are monkeys working in the shipping center.

i'd like to know exactly how much online business these companies actually do. i've always wondered that.

Still waiting for Verizon to ship my phone. Hate to say it but Att has better customer service so far. I wonder if my personal info is safe with them considering how lax they are about keeping me informed on my order status.

Don't worry you'll get it two day fedex and shipped same day if ordered before 4PM.

My brother when he was with Verizon had to buy on line because he couldn't go to a store. It took 3 weeks. I heard a few years ago 3 months, so it is getting better. It should take 2 days unless somthing is wrong and need to let the customer know right away! they don't seem to do that yet. That was Sep 2003.

ATT is fast shipping, overnight FEDEX. When I've ordered Verizon stuff through the B2B site (35% discount yay!) it came 2 day FEDEX which was nice. All of it free!

Verizon ships two day FedEx. The department that handles orders of phones is completely different from customer service. Customer service, when you order something, emails Direct Fulfillment who processes the order. Sometimes, they take a day or two to ship it but my experience has been that it usually takes 1-2, not really ever longer.

I know that Verizon uses fast shipping [IMG]
It seems like the 3 times my family has bought something on-line has been slow due to getting the item shipped [IMG]
Once shipped it took 1 or 2 days [IMG]

Maybe it was a busy time, but I ordered online and they absolutly DID NOT ship the phones immediatly. I ordered online. Waited 5 days then called the online customer support, and they said my order hadn't been processed yet. So when I called they processed it and I got the phones next day air. But you might want to call and prod them a little if its been a few days.

Actually, it's PDT, MDT, CDT or EDT, assuming that you're located somewhere in the contiguous 48 US States, excluding Arizona and most of Indiana, where Daylight Savings Time is not observed. Also, Hawaii does not observe Daylight Savings Time.
