How do you like it?? BTW...Yours black or silver?? I sent off about 15 inquiries to Chinese manufacturers today...some of which make exact duplicates of that, and or the earlier model. Hopefully I'll have cases of them by late March.

Remember to order the spare CR123's from Surefire.

Wait a minute....2 kerambits and an X5?? Do you have three arms or something?? Heck, two X5/TID's would be bad enough.

Yeah, I'm trying to figure out how this is going to work...I figure if I'm going to use the flashlight in my hand for SD, it's going to be in the dark and I'm going be needing to illuminate something, otherwise I'm just going to have both karambits in my hands and just go Wolverine...but not quite as nice...either way, one TID and one karambit or two karambits, I'm ready to go!
The TID is great. Nice and solid in hand like you said. I can do some real damage with this thing.
Got my batteries today as well. My TID is a real dark grey, the flashlight is black, so it looks cool.

I got the titanium one. The TID is the same color. I may get a black one with green LED's later on.

I got my first reply from my inquiries to China manufacturers today. The light appears to be an exact replica of the first X5 design, and they call it.......The XP5. Go figure. Min. order qnty is 480 pcs @ $5.50USD per pc. Roughly $2600.00 Sold at $25 a pop is about $12,000.00. Now I will have to wait for the sample. Homie dont buy stuff for close to $3000 without taking a peek at it first.

I sent out about 15 inquires. X5, Surefire imitations, and a lot that looked similar to both but were unique. Hopefully when I get more back I can find one of good quality closer to $3.00 USD.

Heck even if I sold them at $19.99 ea. that is a $7000.00 profit. [IMG]

Well...I don't think you are serious, but I think you would like the Inova X5 just on it's awesome gadget factor, and it is super-bright for being so small. 20 hrs of light per battery set and you never have to change a bulb. And you can put teeth on it if you feel the need to hit something or someone.

I was looking at those LED flashlights on ebay. Are they worth it? Are they really as bright as a conventional flashlight?

A lot of the one's on eBay are knockoffs. Plus, if you want to buy that face tenderizer that Delta and I have, it won't fit on the old style X5

But yeah, the LED flashlight is really frickin bright. I'll post a pic of the light it casts on my wall if I have time tonight.

I doubt he wants the "face tenderizer" (I like that).

Yes, they are worth it. I am into the Inova now more than the surefire because it is tougher and more practical. There is a seller on ebay right now named gorefurb who is selling the old-style Inovas cheap. I got a green one for $18.00 w/shipping. Not bad, seeing how I spent $40 on my new X5.

They are really, really handy. And the light they put out is more than you would expect when you see how small they are.

BTW Yello, I got more inquiries back today...the Surefire 6p (LED) knockoff (with the Titanium-color anodized finish) unit price from China is only $2.12 USD. Now word yet on how many I have to buy though.

So most of those guys on ebay are making at least $18 profit per piece, avg.

    Wholesale rocks!

I am, acutally serious and I do actually want an FTD & end cap spike for my Mag Lite... why do you think I have it next to my hand brake? Not only for it's illumination powers when I am searching for dropped cigarrettes but also if someone ever steps to the Hooligan I can lay the smack down with an aluminum death stick... word.

Sorry Rancid, but it looks like the only FTD's available are for Surefire flashlights or the Inova X5. I would seriously consider the Inova, though. It's really cool.

Besides, I know Maglights go through bulbs and batteries like nothin. Wouldn't rather have something small enough to carry on you, with bulbs that never burn out and batteries that last 20 hours???

    See for yourself

On another LED light note: The China manufacturer of the "Surefire 6P-Like" flashlight ($2.12USD) emailed me back and said the magic words:

No minimum order for first timers. Choice of White, Red, Green, Blue, or UV LEDS. I can get it without the stupid "Police" banner on it that ever single one on Ebay has. I will sell them even faster without that dumb banner.

So I can order 100 of them for $200, sell them @ $20 ea. (already have a market) and end up with $2000.00. That gives me plenty of venture capitol to order even more stuff.

Yeah, but have you heard the noise a Mag Lite makes when you crack someone in the ribs with it? Damn, that's a good noise. Plus mines' silver aluminum which almost looks like chrome so I'm stylish and a threat. Maybe I'll just have my brother fabricate me some stuff for my Mag Lite... maybe I'll get the D-cell extender and make it an evil, aluminum spikey-toothy baseball bat.
