Why doesnt T-Mobile have the cool phones?

True, but they don't have to.


If you're happy with the pricing on the calling plan you have and no one else offers anything similar then it wouldn't make sense to changed it imho.

Now getting back to the subject at hand....
when is T-Mo going to get better looking phones?

They have to be marketing the phones to different demographics. I saw pictures of some phones that other mobile companies around the world are offering their customers, yet none of these are available in the U.S.

It would be nice to have some of those in the U.S.

It really depends on what you are looking for Feature wise... One of our hot item phones at T-Mobile lately has been the Trace... its a GREAT device is loade with features... it even has a memory card slot for a micro SD so you can upload pics and music onto it!!! another great device is the NOKIA 6133... fully loaded device with the option to have MP3's and pics... it also has the memory card slot.

 

Once T-Mobile begins to offer AWS service in the U.S., it will be interesting to see what phones are offered for that service, when the time comes.

 

Oh yes, the Asian and European markets seem to have phones that are years ahead of what we get here, but then it's been like that for quite a while.

 

Dude, screw T-Mobile phones. Just buy a good phone from Asia and Europe. I bought a Samsung D900. Get a BlackBerry Pearl from T-Mobile with your new contract and sell it on eBay for twice the price. That way, you'll pay for the European phone less.

 

Samsung have some nice handsets (and that's coming from a SE fanboy ).

 

I also have BNP, and grandfathered full GPRS/EDGE (and 3G?) for total $60
I have to pay double if I want to get similar plan and service elsewhere
the money I saved is enough to offset the cost of unlocked phones in the long run, no joke

 

from what I heard, it'll be samsung T529 (3G ver of T509), a nokia model, and an HTC model in selected markets

 

I wish they would go back to the Treo Smartphones. I just bought a 750 and unlocked it for T-Mo. I now need to figure out how to get to the internet...after that it will be smooth sailing.

 

Buy an unlocked phone. Then buy a phone from T-Mobile with the new contract. Sell the T-Mobile phone to subsidise your unlocked phone.

suck it up.... its funny u think that we have the sucky phones..true Moto razors do suck ill agree with u on that. but people go crazy about the fact that we are the only company that will let use the sidekick. no other company can have that...:O..the customer service is way way way the best...the other companies have cooler phones in you opinion becuase there rates are so high they can charge u that., hell u pay me that much for plans..ill get u those awesome phones too..unlocking handsets are ok but we cant guarantee that it will work on our service just like the other companies cant. bc the software that u may need might not be compatable..
