lol, fair enough. I've got a few books and movies I could recommend! lol Tuesdays with Morrie was a good one. Oh, and Stargate SG-1 starts back new this Friday night .... yes I guess I am as big of a nerd keeping up with cell technology, reading, and watching Sci-Fi but it keeps me interested without having to do stuff like that!
Oh geez, i thought I was the only dork that watched stargate....lol. I'm worried they are going to get a letter from Alltel, "Thank you do your enthusiasm in using My Circle. But it is apparent that you never sleep, and there for have violated your contract terms. We only sell to normal people. Thanks anyway!"
It's just Kyle...... Lol check out our myspace for more: www.myspace.com/kyleandmelissa22 anyway..... sorry, i've been in NJ all week..I'll be on my way bak down on Monday.. since i've been here, i haven't seen less than a full signal. Even in while i was in NYC on Friday 4-6, literally a full signal everywhere ( Sprint & Verizon).... Also, since i've been here, i found two SIDs that i don't know anything about (yet)... 173 & 177. .... I also think another SID in SC, 5595, is owned by some wireless company called Airgate PCS (which i think is now owned by Sprint) is this true? any info on Airgate PCS ?
That makes sense. Whether you use one, or 30,479 like i did last month, Theres other ways that Alltel is still better off. Some examples are old plans (without My Circle), roaming revenue, prepaid services (even 10 cents per minute is outrageous if you talk a lot, and don't forget pay-per-use text messaging). Another is that lots of people barely use any minutes (or none if they have a lost phone, under contract and couldn't find/afford one in the short term). ... Also, I have double checked with customer service several times on the issue. Someone in my family made up this saying regarding the issue: "Don't use all you unlimited free minutes!" It was actually funny. Well for all the minutes last month, the combined bill was $82 for two lines ($69 + $13).
Old plans have my circle too, as long as they are 59.99 or more. You did not need to get a new plan to get my circle. It was just given to all customers. It was like a gift. Another reason to love Alltel!
I'm referring to plans under $59.99. No circle, limited minutes, no choice, no quality. This is old school, but it's also today's Verizon, Sprint, Cingular, T-mobile, SunCom and other wireless carriers. Long live the Circle! It has changed lives in the wireless world forever!
Kyle...are you perhaps an Alltell Shill??? LOL! Just kidding, of course!! You seem to be quite an Alltel fan...the biggest fan I've ever seen. Maybe you should work for them?!?!
I'm about spreading the word. Most of my family/friends live in New Jersey & LV, Nevada, both places without Alltel. When I tell them how many minutes I used last month, it makes them look at their current plan in disbelief. "Man I'm getting ripped off" goes through their mind. :rotfl: Their stuck with little choice with the big 4. My Faves doesn't come close to the freedom offered with the Circle. BTW, I think that outside of the USA, T-Mobile offers My Circle (just like faves, but Alltel copyrighted the circle name in the USA, And Alltel isn't in other countries). Is this true? Copycats If it wasn't for me moving to SC 2 years ago, I wouldn't know anything about Alltel. (except through commercials)
Not necessarily. I see old expired rate plans all the time; when I look up the details on them they clearly indicate that My Circle is not available to them even though they rate above 59.99/month.
This shouldn't be, but If you go into an Alltel store, or over the phone, they could fix this potential problem. You can just remind them about the advertisements, and they should listen if they really care about their customers (which of course they do). Your online capabilities are limited. Going to an Alltel store is the best way.
Wirelessly posted (MOT-E815_/00.62 UP.Browser/6.2.3.4.c.1.106 (GUI) MMP/2.0) They likely do have some grandfathered accounts that they didn't automatically change, for cost purposes then just hope the customers don't call in about. But i'm sure they can work something out if you ever run in to that situation...
Actually, the price of the rate plan isn't the only consideration to get My Circle. The plan also needs unlimited M2M and long-distance included as well. Also, if the rate plan is 59.95 per month, it would not qualify, either.
Nope. There is nothing anybody in CS can do to add My Circle if the rate plan was not created and marked eligible at that time. There is no feature or rate code that can be added to an account that will add it. So if your older 59.99 or greater account is not eligible for My Circle, the only way to get it is to switch to a current rate plan that DOES offer it.
Yeah, I mostly meant just upgrading to a newer plan. That seems a little strange though that there is no way to just enable though....huh....
Well if they give you a hard time, remember that Alltel offers "Anytime Plan Changes," and they won't extend/renew your contract. You always win with Alltel.
