Which carrier ie. AT&T, Cingular, T-Mobile will improve their GSM coverage most in 2003? My vote will be on AT&T, what does everybody else think?
As far as improvement is concerned, it is obvious that Cingular and AT&T will need it the most since they are at the infancy of their GSM network. Therefore, I see them both as undergoing the most improvement. However, this is no way implies that they will have the best GSM coverage at the end of 2003 so let's not confuse the terms. T-Mobile is already well established and it is hard to tell who will have better coverage at the end of 2003. Only time will tell.
right now ive seen att improve in central and southern jersey and where there is service it is excellent
Since Cingular isn't currently selling/supporting GSM in New England (even though they say that their CT network is up) they are the most likely to see the greatest improvement since any coverage would be an infinite % improvement over nothing. ATT can improve their network as they wire their towers for New England as well. Does this mean that ATT will have better coverage than T-Mobile? Maybe, maybe not. They will improve more, but they started with less. As for total coverage area, Cingular will easily have the greatest when their network is up because it is GSM850.
I agree cingular in 2003 will have the best improvements with gsm 850 and all the new towers going up....
Quite frankly, Cingular wireless is the US's best chance of having a decent GSM network anytime in the near future period.
AT&T will have the biggest improvements but T-Mobile will still have the best coverage..as far as GSM is concerned;//
Hello everyone. I believe Cingular will have the best GSM/GPRS coverage in the New England arena. They have most of the network up and they turned on GPRS 1900 as of late. P.S. Does anyone have the driver software for the C331G online or know where I can get it? I have a USB cable but, need the driver for the phone. Drumer
