who should I go with for new service

    Hi,
    I currently have Sprint. I am bit unhappy due to lot of drop calls even I have 8100. I am with sprint from 3 years now. I am in baltimore are. Finally have decided to switch teh carrier who has better service and coverage compared to sprint. Also is there anyway I can us emy same sprint number, I heard that FCC has passed a law for that , I am not sure if its in use.

    I've never tried to switch my number, but I'd imagnie its going to be a hassel even if you can. But I would recomend verizon. I went from sprint to cingular to verizon all within a year and verizon has been the most superior for me.

    Number portability will not become available till Nov. 24th, and right now all the major carriers except verizon are fighting it, if you need to keep your number wait till Nov. to see if it goes into effect.
    I have AT&T and have no problems with it, i tried Verizon and had problems with the service where i live. If anything all the company's have trial periods, you can try out the different companies to see which works best for you.

    Most people seem to think that Verizon Wireless has the best service in the Baltimore and DC area.

    Verizon ahs good service in DC/ Baltimore, i find that its not as good in Baltimore as in DC.
