Here we go again. They have to rehash this again? Well, what about my bluetooth headset? Don't the waves blasting out of that thing cause cancer? Somebody better look into that too. WGN TV: WHO says cell phone use "possibly carcinogenic"
I think people need to use some common sense and understand that cell-phones, cordless-phones, wifi, etc. do emit radio waves and that it's not good to over-expose yourself to that. I don't think cell-phones in general pose any real cancer risk when used normally. But obviously if you leave it on next to your head radiating 24-hours a day, that can't be a good thing, but some people don't seem to realize things like that (the same ones who don't realize coffe is hot, I guess ) I think it would be a good idea to include a small booklet or something with each wireless device sold, that explains RF and ways to reduce exposure. I'd like to see the wireless industry be pro-active about this before the ambulance-chasing lawyers whip up some bogus class-action lawsuits and start lawsuits against telecom companies, which in turn would result in higher prices for phones/contracts, and more $$ in lawyers pockets...
