Colts/Pats was an amazing game. I loved every second of it.

Why are you all Peyton haters?? He reads defenses like a psychic, decreases his team's need for an offensive coordinator and puts up big numbers (until he reaches the playoffs) all season long. His teammates seem to like him.

He may not run much himself, but he's not afraid to take a hit - I haven't really heard him be a whiner when they lose - he acknowledges when he plays bad.

He's a marketing genius - I LMAO at most of his commercials, they are some of the best on TV.

I must admit, the towel-snapping incident in college, I wasn't sure about it - but then I've been on the receiving end of some crappy player behavior when I was a team mgr - so I was jaded.

As a big Viking fan, I'm a fan of any team playing against the Bears or Packers. Tony Dungy is a deserving coach, also.

Living in the Hawkeye state & Indy having Dallas Clark & Bob Sanders on their team - well - I guess it's a no-brainer to root for the Colts.

Now that I've written a book - please tell me your pains with Peyton...

 

I have no idea who will win because I don't really follow it enough! But on Feb 5th (or 4th in usa time) I will be watching it live from Australia drinking Budwiser

 

Once the Chargers were out, I smiled and bid football adieu...I've never been a fan of the Super Bore anyway.

Since football left L.A., I've paid little attention. And sorry, but for me, a football team from San Diego is not worth rooting for. The last city I want to see win a championship of any kind is San Diego.

This is the year for the Colts!! After all, what else would you expect a guy from Indianapolis to say!

 

My step dad says the Colts to win.

I personally won't even be watching the game. My husband and I have plans out of town for the day with some friends. My husband isn't a football fan if you can imagine.

My Father and my step dad both like it...so if they don't tell me who won the game... I'm sure I'll find out from everyone here! :biggrin: :browani:

Hooray, another Vikings fan in the house! Someday we'll get to wear purple and gold on Super Bowl Sunday and watch the Vikings play... *sigh*

And yeah, pretty much anybody that plays the Bears but DEFINITELY anybody that plays the Packers. Friggin' cheeseheads.

Goin' down to a party today -- but have to stop along the way and buy a fridge and a bed for the new place, yay.

LOL....I understand. The BEARS really sucked horribly...and Lovie did nothing to try and change that....they deserved to lose. Well...just like the Cubbies...."maybe next year"!

 

Interestingly, the Indianapolis Colts becomes the 4th modern-era relocated franchise to win a Super Bowl.

They join the:

• Los Angeles Raiders (1984)
• St. Louis Rams
• Baltimore Ravens

Maybe there is something to this relocation thing...:loony:

Arizona and Tennessee being the exceptions so far (although Tennessee did make it to the Super Bowl against the St. Louis Rams).
