This may have been our first poll question many years ago...time to ask again.

Which Wireless Company Are You Using Now?

There were many more cellular companies to choose from the last time we had this poll. Let's see how it shakes out this time.

Primarily a Verizon user for the last seven years now. Never thought I'd be with one company continuously for that long! Only with them for the selection of phones and my grandfathered unlimited data. Network is solid in these parts.

Primarily AT&T. I did switch to T-Mobile for a few years. I need GSM. My wife and I go to France a couple of times a year.

There does seem to be a lot more MVNO's (mobile virtual network operator) around. I have even seen TV ads for Straight Talk recently.

Just switched to AT&T. Having usable data & good coverage, along with a good selection of WP has made it a good switch. :)

Been with Verizon Wireless (including predecessors AirTouch and PacTel Cellular) for 18.5 years now, though with the data plan crap Verizon recently pulled, I may look elsewhere.

I've never changed carriers. Been with the same company through all the name changes and mergers for about 13 years.

I've been with AT&T all along too, started out as Cellular One in 1996 and went through AT&T Wireless, Cingular and whatever it's been called since.

I finally realized I was paying way too much for 5 cell phones with AT&T! I did a lot of research before making any changes and the savings with Sprint's share everything data plan
was huge to say the least! The service is great, the calls are clear and no dropped calls! As a further note after explaining the savings over AT&T & Verizon to my friends, they will be porting
their phones to Sprint in September. As a suggestion: take the time to compare your present phone plan against Sprint's, I'm sure you will be surprised at the amount of money you can save!

Switched to AT&T recently and it's been excellent so far. Definitely my best cellular experience out of all the carriers I've been to. Great coverage and customer service has been fine also.

I use T-Mobile; got them back when they were VoiceStream, started in 2001. We don't get service in every nook and cranny... or all the dirt roads - but for the price we pay; we are happy with what we have.

I've been with AT&T Mobility/Cingular/AT&T Wireless up to about a year ago. I switched to a T-Mobile value plan (with a 15% discount) after my blue plan was crippled and then eventually discontinued. Oddly enough, I now get much better coverage at home (even in the basement) and around town, but there are a few holes in some fringe areas when I travel. I have no complaints. :)

Dang! For as much heat as AT&T takes for not being as good as Verizon, as of my vote just now, its in the lead over Verizon by 16%. But there is not even 20 votes yet.

I am surprised that no one has picked, Other Than the Top 4. There's a lot of MVNO's now, Straight Talk, H2Owireless, Red Pocket, Simple Mobile, Firefly, Pure TalkMobile...etc...

I was with CellularOne, just before it became AT&T. Switched to Alltel, before it became Verizon, due to it's Friends & Family deal. Now, I'm contemplating going back to AT&T. Just not sure if I like Verizon's plans.

AT&T here as well, I've been happy with it. Good coverage, good data speeds, and its quite a bit cheaper for my needs than Verizon would have been.

Slightly surprised also. I know for me, the Sprint and T-Mobile based MVNOs don't cut it for me as they don't work that well in my area. The Verizon based ones tend to have crippled phones (and no 4G). Straight Talk based on AT&T would work for me, but I heard rumblings about "data hogs" who use > 2GB are harassed and/or disconnected.

I suspect some of us are also hanging on to those sweet plans of yesteryear:evillaugh. I am one of them.

Been back with at&t for 2 months now. No complaints. Only 2 dropped calls in that time. Data is FAST and very usable.

Was with Sprint from Spring of 2010 until July 2012. The first year (and a half) were great. It was hell the last 8 or so months. Will never go back.

Before that I was with cingular then turned at&t from 2001-2010.

Before that Ameritech then turned Verizon from 1999-2001.

I started cell service in 1986 with SNET Mobility (An independent Telco in Connecticut which after a merger(s) in 1998 became part of AT&T).

SNET Mobility became Springwhich Cellular (A contraction of Springfield MA and Greenwich CT).

    Springwich merged with Cingular.

In 1989 I left the Bell subsidiaries and went to Tracfone

    1993 Back to AT&T Wireless

    1997 Verizon

    1999 T-Mobile

    2000 AT&T Wireless

The only major carrier I have not used is Sprint

Been on AT&T almost throughout, except for a couple of years on T-Mobile. First cell phone in the mid nineties. My mother has T-Mo prepaid, as she only carries her phone for emergencies. I got her the $10 for 90 days package - @ $3.33 per month, the cheapest monthly rate for an emergency phone.

I'm on AT&T but I almost switched when I heard they didn't have LTE in seattle so I was going to order the iPhone 5 on Verizon but, they turned on their LTE yesterday so I stuck to AT&T.

Hello All! I've been with T-Mobster now for 5 + years, have no regrets, and no plans to switch in the near future.

I did start out with Verizon in 1999-2000, basically had great service and all. I left due to rising rates and customer service issues at the time...though I do admit VZW CS has greatly improved.

Here in the Bay Area, I generally get equal to, or sometimes better reception on TM vs friends & coworkers who are on AT&T. So as long as TM doesn't fold, I'm staying with the big pink "T"! :)

Verizon's service works the best in my area, so not much of an option for me. Although I have no complaints, they have served me well for the 2 years I have been with them.
