My phone is dying and I need a new one, but it's going to be awhile before I can get a new one from Verizon. I'm picky about phones though... here are the things I'm looking for. If you know of a phone that does all this, let me know.

    - speakerphone
    - bluetooth
    - number keys assigned to every menu item
    - vibrate AND ring (both at the same time)
    - speed dials
    - calendar

My dying phone is an LG VX4650. I love everything about it except that it doesn't have Bluetooth. Plus it's a 4-5 year old model so finding decent used ones is getting harder.

    Thanks,
    Jon

Verizon has had a standardized menu setup for about 3 years now. It is based mostly on LG's menu structure, but as far as the number keys assigned to a menu item, I'm not sure if that's been kept on regular Verizon phones. As far as everything else you want, nearly all Verizon phones feature them.

Since you've had success with LG, you can stick with them and check out the VX-8360, which is a clam-shell phone like the one you have. Or you can spend a little less and get the VX-5400. I believe the Ring AND Vibrate feature is standard (as it is part of Verizon's standard UI). Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this.

You may also want to check out some of the other LG touch screen and message-centric phones as well.

As far as Samsung or Motorola phones...I'm not so sure about these. You might want to check them out in a store and see how you like them.

There's a lot to choose from, so check out their site and see what you like.

No need to ask, it's already done! ;)
