which service provider should I choose -- confused

    Hi,
    I am confused with all the service providers. Nextel, Sprint Cingular and Verizon who should I get. I am in Baltimore travel a lot in Nort East and sometimes Florida and NC state.

    i'd say verizon or sprint would be the best east coast providers as well as florida. cingular i am not too sure about in florida. maybe someone else can elaborate on their service down there.

    Nextel has great service in those areas too. Are you staying near the metro areas or out in thr boondocks?

    Cingular covers Florida well. With a National Plan, you should be fine wherever you travel. You would be getting a TDMA phone in your area. In NC you would be roaming on another carrier, but that is no extra charge with a National Plan.

    I think I'm going to agree with IdiOTeQnoLogY. Verizon Wireless and Sprint PCS are prolly your 2 best choices.
