I'm trying to replace my cr**py 8260 which has the worst call quality and reception I've ever experienced with a Nokia phone...so I'm a little hesitant to go for the 8265, though I heard it's improved over the 8260.
So if you omit price/features/etc which one has better reception/call quality?
    Thanks.

I have never used the 8200 series, but my 6360 has great reception and quality just about everywhere.

You might want to consider the Nokia 6360 from what I have heard its a good phone.

I have the same dilema. Have you (anybody) compared these two? I did a Field Test and they were about the same, both much better then 3360/1260 models

I believe both the 6360 and 8265 have the newer type of internal antenna, so both should have much better reception than 8260 or 3360. But I'd recommend the 6360 because it has more features than the 8265. When I looked at these phones, the only real advantage I could find for the 8265 was it's smaller size. For me though, that's not an advantage because a larger phone is easier for me to hold and use. Check out both phones on http://www.phonescoop.com

I too would recomend the 6360 for features and a longer battery.....but the 8265 has been a good phone for the people Ive spoken too.....havent seen one of those come back yet....6360s have sometimes come back with some software problems
