I do have one newer one that cleans itself, but I usually don't use that feature. I keep forgetting to go to Wal Mart and buy the special cleaning juice for it. -Jay
I know how that is. When I forget, I end up with this flashing red light that drives me nuts till I get more juice.
I shave with the Gillette Mach 4 or 3. I have an electric that I use when I'm in a hurry, but it really irritates my skin.
Yeah, right now since I will be moving soon when it ran out I just packed up the base. I don't want to try to move that thing full, and you're not supposed to pour that "Special fluid" down the drain either. I am just brushing it out every couple of days now. -Jay
All of the above - depending on the mood and the season. but I like my Panasonic and my new Norelco (like j's it cleans itself) (why can't you pour the juice down the drain? Do you live in the harbor?) I like the Mach3 with the battery power for the hot shower shave. but electric get's it done on the road and with the bluetooth connection it tells my phone to send all calls to VM. ab
Electric All the Way!!! Remington Titanium for me... If I tried with a regular razor I would look as if I attempted to commit suicide. My last experience with a regular razor was a monolithic disaster. Electric is much faster...
Gillette Mach 3 turbo for me, I have a heavy beard so electric does not work for me. The blade also works better when I shave my head.
The bottle says its flamable and to not put it down the drain. I like your BT feature, I hate when my phone rings while I'm shaving. -Jay
Yeah, I tend to bleed a lot when using a blade, and I have white towels at home. Blood is something I like to avoid. -Jay
Right now I am trying the Gillette Fusion, so far it is great. I bet in a few month it will start to stink. As the blade quality will decline, like every other Razer I have bought. I tried an electric a couple of times, but my beard is thick & I have sensitive skin. Plus I like skipping a day between shaves, and I can't do that with an electric.
I keep a cheap Bic Metal razor in the shower. I'll shave in the shower when I forget to charge my electric and it dies. I find that if I use my Paul Mitchell Awapuhi as a shaving cream that the blade lasts a really long time, I usually get about 30 shaves out of it before it bothers me, and I have sensitive skin. If I actually use shaving cream I bleed like I've been stabbed. -Jay
There are plenty of tips on shaving over at eHow.com for all you guys that need help with your safety razor shaving or want to retire the electric. http://www.ehow.com/how_2116_shave-face.html
Jay - I went to your website - you didn't seem the Metro-Se(nsual) type to me - but then again you never know JK (I shave in the shower too - much easier on the skin - didn't know about the extra blade use I'' have to try it.)
I rarely use a blade, and I get a lot of mileage out of the ones I do have. If I use the Paul Mitchell I don't get any cuts, with Edge... OMG!!! I just got an idea! A RAZOR with EDGE!!!!! Those of you who aren't Motorola addicts probably won't get that... Anyway, Edge shave cream gives me lots of cuts, Paul Mitchell doesn't. -Jay
No I don't think they will. That's the dissapointment. They are too busy rehashing 2G Razrs to put out a cool new 3G phone for me. -Jay
I use the Gillette Mach 3, I have been thinking about the Fusion but the blades are a lot more expensive vs the Mach 3. And I am not sure if 2 more blades will make that much of a difference.
