Which is better? Flip phone or triangle phone like Nokia model phone?

who cares whats in fashion..It should be what works better with you. I use the flipless phones because i break the flips on the phones that do have them. Hence I need a phone that will fit in my pocket as well. I really dont care if anyone else uses that type of phone it works for me..

 

Flips break on me, and I agree with what Trevor10 said. One thing is flipless phones can be smaller to hold so you might end up using hands free more. I have Nokia and after 10 minutes my hand cramps up from hold the tiny thing. I my case the Nokia has an internal antenna at the top of the phone so I have hold it near the bottom, but I still like it better than flips I have owned. With no flip and no external antenna I have no problems. My roommate just busted the antenna on his V60, and he said it was because he was sitting down with the phone in his pants pocket. My flipless Nokia takes a licking and keeps on working.

 

Whatever you want/like...

I've never met someone who broke a v60 (clamshell) and so if you go with flip or folder, make sure you get an expensive one (even if ya get a deal on it). Otherwise, it's a matter of opinion/taste, much like antennas: Some people hate external, some will ONLY use phones with externals. etc, etc.

my pref is flip phones for a couple of reasons. get the right one and it wears far better on a belt and most fit better in a pocket. other reason is that the flip is far more ergonomic.... and private... the mouthpiece is over your mouth, not half way up the side of your face. this also makes it a lot easier to hold. I tried a siemens s46 which is candybar sized like most nokia's and I kept dropping the damn thing... very rare with a flip phone.

and as far as the non PC comment goes (hope nobody's listening)... they are cooler.
