Where's Supermod Fire14???

I was just thinking the same thing. Hopefully Charlyee or one of the other mods knows where he is.

He hasn't been posting since the day I became a moderator, if that is not enough to give me a complex. .

Seriously though, I do hear from him on and off (more off than on actually), last I heard from him was about 2 weeks back, at that time he was fine, just busy with work and other personal situations.

I will let him know about this thread and that he is being missed.

 

It's a bummer indeed, Tom's been missing pretty much from all the forums where I used to see him

He told us he would be out for a while but I didn't realize it would be this long. Hope he comes back soon and hasn't lost interest in WA

 

That is also what I am concerned about. It seems he is away from wireless forums in general as mentioned by dmapr and Blue4Life.


He replied to me yesterday and said he was okay and thanked everyone at WA for their concern.

Thanks for the update Charlyee. That is good news to hear that Tom is all right.

 

I also had some communications with him. As far as I know, he is doing well and I am sure we will see him on again.

Hello All, I wanted to say thanks for everyones wondering in the thread on my whereabouts. I want to appoligize to everyone for disappearing like that & just wanted to let everyone know what's been going on.

Back in December when I got back from TX things started going south with my marriage & after 22 years we decided to seperate. As of now I am living at my sisters in Pittstown near PA and am in the process of a divorce.

Between that, living in no mans land with limited computer & internet access (Verizon wireless data card only out there & it's slow), work, my dad being very ill & not doing well (may have to make a trip to FL very soon) it's been a very tough 9 months so far.

I have not lost any interest in the forum or cellphones, in fact I am just as much into it all as I had been & everyone here has been in my thoughts.

I do plan on getting on here alot more often as I can & also give my update on the new Verizon PTT Adventure phone I have (our county gave up Sprint/Nextel due to poor usage for PTT & Calls)

I hope if I do have to vanish for a short period everyone understands it's not the boards or lack of interest in the people here or cellphones. :biggrin: That would be a sin actually

 

Thanks Mike & I do agree things happen for a reason & we all become stronger in the long run during difficult times.

I am really sorry for what you had to go through and still are, I sincerely hope things start to improve for you soon.
