Does anyone know where i can buy an unlocked Nokia 3590 for use on an ATT Network? They told me i can't purchase it from them for the plan that i want but if I get it from another location, I can have it activated.
The Nokia 3590 is a GSM/GPRS phone, so unless you plan to use AT&T's GSM service, you can't use that phone. If you do plan to use their GSM service, I have no idea where online would sell it. Cody

So I can only get the phone on a GSM service plan even if its unlocked? If so I guess I'll wait for the 3585.
I am not sure if you know this but the 3585 is not GSM. It is CDMA and may be available through Verizon or Alltel by the end of this year.
Yeah, i meant to say that i would go with another carrier. But do you know if i will be able to use it at att if i get it unlocked?
Okae! Just to clear up further confusion: - no matter if it is unlocked or not, to use a phone it must operate on the same service as your plan. example, if your plan is a TDMA plan w/ attws and you want to use the Nokia 6590 that is GSM, how can you? You are using TDMA service and not GSM
