You shouldn't feel that way, now you'd used it, so you know from first hand experience how the RIZR works for you.....or lack there of. ;)

I don't like the KRZR. The fingerprints and small screen didn't appeal to me. Also as far as I know the KRZR doesn't have a flash. Without a flash all pictures will be average at best.

I hear you, but for a flip phone, 2.0MP camera, blutooth, & edge, that would be it for t-mo's lineup AFAIK

All of those things are nice, but to me having a 2mp camera without a flash is like a swimming pool without water.

    it's OK when used outdoors
except it equips the real flash (like K790), it may be useless
btw, I told terryjohnson16 about you over there, and invited some members to join here

The pictures that I did take outdoors with the RIZR didn't turn out as nice as the ones that I had taken using the camera on my new Lg 8300 in the same location. The ones on the RIZR seemed to turn out darker even in optimal sun light for some reason. I do realize however that most people when buying a phone aren't to concerned with the camera feature.

since camera is just a value-added function, that not many ppls care
but my SE phones do the nice job on that part

You keep bringing up your SE phones in this thread, this is not a Moto vs SE thread.

    Wirelessly posted (SE K790a or Z710i + HP RX3715: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows XP; PPC; 640x480; PPC; 240x320))

I tried to find the best way to explain
frankly, I am also interested in RIZR too (I like slider form)

If you buy it make sure to post your thoughts about it on here. I'd be interested in finding out what other peoples experience is with the TMobile RIZR besides mine.

Really, she told you this? it was the contrary for me, RF was excellent on mine, even in the X-Ray room where i work at where i didn't have signal with my V3i i was able to make and recieved calls there with my Rizr.

Your lucky if you have a phone that will work near XRay equipment. None of the carriers get a signal in the radiology dept. of the Hospital that I work at. It doesn't matter what phone that I have with me, as soon as I leave the ER and go any where near XRay I either drop the call that I'm on or the phone starts searching for service. TMobile and Verizon phones are the only ones that work in the ER too.

Which is exactly why i used that room as reference, like i said, my v3i can't hold on to a call in the X-ray room, but with the Rizr i get about 1 bar but manages to hold on to a call, in my case other things come into play, i work at a private diagnostic radiology clinic, not a Hospital so signal is not degraded as much because there is less equiptment to interfere, also the building only has two floors, then as you probably know signal can't acurately be measured by the signal bars that show on your phone, so it might even be gettting less or more signal.

I bought the RIZR on 3/29 and returned it on 3/30. The RF completely sucks. There were some places where the RIZR wouldnt pick up a signal where as my v360 would have been able to do it just fine. In some places the signal varied between the two phones by as much as 10 db. Thats too big a difference to me, so i returned it.

Update: KRZR due out 4/2 cant wait. :D

That's interesting, you know i'm begining to wonder if the fact the my Rizr was an unbranded unlocked version with a different flex and software version makes a difference as opposed to the T-Mobile branded ones, there are alot of folks at Hofo who are happy with theirs, which are also unbranded versions btw.

My V195 and V360 both got better reception than the RIZR in all the same areas.

PS: Tony, The MOTORAZR V3xx does get reception in the radiology area.

No, non of my other phones work there, it's weird. Another area that they don't work is the "morgue", when I go back to work tomorrow I'll try making a test call from there using the V3xx,:speechles and pray that nobody answers! :lmao:
