    Re: Where is the RIZR?

They may have pushed it back to 3/26/07. These things have a habit of getting pushed back occasionally. You might try going to the sales office to see if the RIZR is in stock there, though usually they hit the website first.

Does that mean the KRZR is delayed as well?

Yes the KRZR has also been pushed back.
I went to TMobile to check the RIZR Z3 out today, and they told me the launch date for both of these phones was pushed back to March 26th. :(

Where did you hear this from? The Reps who I talk to are still telling me March 26th as the release date.

The V360 is what I'll be replacing as well. I must say though that it is still a nice phone, I'm just tired of it and want something new.

I am replacing my RAZR V3 because the front glass shattered and the screen is cracked.

I looked at the 5300 in the store and must say that I wasn't to impressed with the build quality at all. I'm a Moto woman myself so that could be my problem with not wanting the 5300. I'll compare them both together once the RIZR finally does hit the stores.

    Re: Where is the RIZR?

If I like the looks of the RIZR in the store, I'll be getting one of those. Still undecided as to whether or not I want a slider. I didn't like the looks of the KRZR' s screen nor the the fingerprints, but other than that it seems like a Nice phone.

    Re: Where is the RIZR?

I'll call my local TMO store on Wednesday to see if they did in fact get any in. I think the Reps. are getting a little tired of seeing me show up in the store every time a new phone is released. :D

Stopped by my local t-mo store as well, they said wednesday as well. Im surprised t-mobile hasnt put anything on their website about the KRZR or RIZR. They had the 5300 on the website at least 1 week before they officially released it. Im prolly gonna pick something up on friday after classes.

I heard this again tonight as well so I guess I'll just have to make another stop at my local TMO store tomorrow and check this phone out.

    Re: Where is the RIZR?

The RIZR Z3 is finally out!! I was the first one in my local TMobile store today to get one. So far I like it "BUT" the lower portion of the slider has some movement to it and not having a slider phone before I'm not sure if this is normal or not. Anyone with a slider that can tell me if the slider is suppose to move at all while in the down position?

    Re: Where is the RIZR?

The slider portion of the phone should click into place when in the "down" position, at least that's how my unbranded Rizr was.

    Re: Where is the RIZR?

Thanks Tony. Mine does clink into place, but the lower portion on the slider can be moved up and down slightly. It might me normal though because it looks like this phone only has one clip on each side that hold the slider in place.

I AM SO HAPPY NOW! I will get it this weekend. And that is the best price for a good phone like that. I just don't understand the mail-in-rebates... Anyways, I wonder why T-mobile delayed the phone. I am gonna get this than the KRZR because the KRZR seems like if I dropped it, the whole front would break. I AM SO GETTING That phone!:D :smilebig:

the meaning is: I am interested in RIZR too
I like slider form factor, and it has strong EDGE modem (class 12)
I may ask the phone store in E Broadway to find out can I flash it to generic ver and unlock it
if so, I may shell out $300
quad-band 2G phone still has good market worth
