Yes, it will work perfectly with it. You dont need to do any hacks. Just make sure when u get MPT, u update it to the newest, 4.36

I have ver.3.28. Are the updates free?

 

Updates are free. However, it could be possible that older versions dont have the "Live Update" function.

 

Now I've done it. Right after one of the update sessions for MPT and running the mtpfix. I shut the phone off and restarted it and my display went into a gps session of some sort. No wallpaper and an endless cycle thru internal software settings that I shouldnt be seeing. Have to get the phone reflashed on Monday.WTF? I did a backup when I had the frist version loaded (3.28) but that was only for address book and such.Phone still works ,,just no display. Any thoughts?

 

Is it a white screen with a bunch of blue text? And u can use the right soft key to scroll thru different screens? If so, you are in Test Mode. What u need to do is, hit the CLR button then the left soft key VERY QUICKLY. It will exit u out of Test Mode. You then need to Disable Test Mode. To get into the programming menu, type #073887* quickly, type 000000 for the code, scroll down to Test Mode, and select Disable. Let me know if that works.

only if u want to add MUSIC, not to be confused with adding RINGTONES. Music gets put into the "my_music" folder, and WMP11 accesses this and converts it into the proper wma format. Ringtones however, go into the phones "audio" folder, and in the form of mp3, whihc MPT accesses this folder.

I am so pissed! I went to the BVRP site and paid for the phone tools. Instead of getting a download link, I got a message that they will confirm my payment within THE NEXT WEEK!!! and send me an email. WHY DONT THEY TELL YOU IT IS NOT AN INSTANT DOWNLOAD UNTIL AFTER THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY?? BASTARDS!

 

How did u pay? With credit card? Or with an online check? If u did check, they need it to clear. But if u used a credit card, it IS instantaneous.

 

I paid with PayPal, which has always been instantaneous. I've had my account there for years.

There must be somewhere I can download this program. Damn it I paid and still don't have it. I've looked and looked for hours for other sites with no luck. Will none of you help? You all have the program on your computers. Will someone email it?

 

I downloaded an older version from lime wire that wound up giving me a virus that I spent a day cleaning up.Almost ALL from limewire had a virus that Norton quarantined before I unzipped them.Found one that scanned ok before and after unzipping but I still wound up with Spybot.Worm. What a pain in the turd cutter.

Had to go thru several updates that took a whole afternoon to download.Motorolas update site was only 10k a sec. Three or four downloads @ 30-50mb took some time.

So all in all, it can be had and running for you today. Better get busy.

 

It is against forum rules to ask for copyright software to be emailed for free. It is called 'warez' and is frowned upon by the mods here. Are u sure ur paypal wasnt set as 'e-check'?

 

No not sure of anything just now..Paypal does not workends anymore. I'll find out in the morning whats what. Unless Paypal has gone over to a new system. I've always had them to do a direct bank debit, like using a debit card. Its never been like a check that has to clear. This has always been their prefered payment method.

I'll find out for sure where the hicup is in the morning, and I'll post the info here.

P.S. I am supprised to have heard nothing at all from BVRP......
