Actually it's not a BB issue, when i previously replied i did not use the "wap" login feature thus the reason the forum did not see my wireless device.

I was going to ask you that but I said to myself no he would not forget to go to te wap site for replies. This has happened a few times with me where I go to the link from te email and I recently realized that email notifications for responses posted via WAP do not include the wap link in them

LOL-that's exactly what happened-wonder why it is that it doesn't include a WAP link for this thread?

From seat 33F at 30,000 feet, on a flight from Boston to Atlanta. First time I've paid for the onboard Wi-Fi (Delta's Gogo Inflight). $7.95 for a single flight, $12.95 for 24 hrs. Since I have another leg to Denver, I sprang for the 24 hrs. The safety/rules video still says that use of cell phones is not allowed in flight. That got me thinking. Shouldn't "airplane mode" just shut off the cellular radio and leave Wi-Fi on? Do any phones actually do this?

I can choose to shut off the radio & leave the WiFi on. The Treo will then just act as a WiFi PDA.

If I choose Airplane Mode, it will shut the data off also, but I can then re-enable the WiFi w/o turning on the radio.

    Posting from work. :)

On the HTC 8925 Tilt, you're in Airplane Mode only if all radios (wireless, WiFi, and Bluetooth) are off. All individually selected, or all at once.

At Dulles Airport, standing under Eero Saarinen's catenary roof. I'm on my way home to Boston, but my plane is delayed.

Not much activity in this thread recently, so I thought I'd contribute something "historic and folkloric" as they would say on "Car Talk".
