What do you all have for your ringtone and do you use mp3's, wav or midi's? I prefer midi's because i like the beat to songs. The songs that i'd like a wav of usually is a part of the song that i don't want. lol

Well, most all of my rings are .mp3. Which one it is depends on who's calling. My default ring if I don't have a special ring specified is a .mp3 recording of one of my Western Electric 2500's ringing..

I used to have Blue Oyster Cult I'm Burning For You, now I have The OC theme song - it is surprisingly nice to get woken up to with drunk dials at 4am! ;)

I seriously advocate the thought process of "What song do I want to get woken up to at 4am"... I did have the Braveheart song for awhile, but I found I slept right through it. Blue Oyster Cult got stuck in my head, The OC is the perfect song. You hear it so often that you don't let it stick around too long!

I'm ready for a new one though, if anyone knows of a song that meets those criteria, let me know!

I could use mp3s on the MDA II but I stick with the Windows Standard ringtone which is a piano playing. PocketPC ringtones tend to be a bit on the low volume side so I have the PPC set to ring & vibe. The vibe function is what makes me aware of a phone call since it is more noticeable than the ringing when I have the PPC in my pocket.

lol, that is when the best stuff comes in! I usually put it on beep (it beeps once and I sleep right through it). When I forget though, it's the sweet melody of the OC that I silence before I drift off again. ;)

I downloaded the sound of a phone ringing because my Samsung SGH-e315 came with very, very lame ringtones. Then I made a bunch of MP3 ringtones on xingtone.com/ and I have them set up for different ring profiles. Here's a list of them...

    The Pogues "Sally MacLennane"
'Weird Al' Yankovic "Let Me Be Your Hog"
    "Spatula City" commercial from UHF
    U.S. Bombs "Sex Machine"
    Northern State "Trinity"
    The Ramones "Cretin Hop"
    Isaac Hayes "Theme From 'Shaft'"
    "Powerpuff Girls" theme
    The Clash "Death or Glory"
    The Clash "Train in Vain"
Bloodhound Gang "You're Pretty When I'm Drunk"

Kind of an odd mix, I know, the great thing is knowing who is calling by their ringtone.

The Motorola "Siren" ringtone comes to mind, with the volume set to 7.

Yeah the Moto ringtones rock on my V525 too. I don't remember which I had set but I like Moonlight Haze.
