Whats your favorite ringtone from MODtones?

I like my inspector gadget theme

 

Whodini's "Friends" is definitely the best. That was the sample one I downloaded. You all should try it, you'll love it.

I'm with Corey... I spent my freebie on Whodini's "Friends." Whodini's "Freaks come out at night" is pretty good, too. I'm going to give the various online places a few more weeks to work out an acceptable hack before Christmas, then I'm going to give up and plunk money down on Modtones.

Off-subject: Does anyone know if Verizon reps can transfer tones you've created from phone to phone? I'm worried I'll lose all my created tones if I'm forced to trade in my 17p for a 19c instead of just flashing.

 

Yup, "Freaks Come Out at Night" is another great one. They sound the best because they translate to a ring-tone the best, so that you can still hear all of the different pieces of the song. Usually the ring-tone will just be the most important pieces of the song. Ludacris' "Roll Out" works well like that, too.

You should call Verizon customer service and ask, *611. Go through the recording to Technical Service. If they tell you no, go to the store anyway and ask. Or.. cut out the middle man and just go to your Verizon store.

 

NO, it is not physically possible to transfer downloaded aps from one handset to another....however Verizon is offering a $10 credit to anyone that swaps out their T720 for the new software, as well as a free battery I believe.

 

Dilema is very cool...... I really wish they had the Back to the Future Soundtrack and more movie soundtracks though....at least they finally changed the tones of the month! Jeez......

 

I had returned four phones before the postcard came out (which I never got isgust. They wouldn't do it at the store, although it sounds like some others have had the store do it, but I called Verizon when my bill came out, told them what happened. I had about $10 in get it now stuff on each phone I have returned. Each time the gave me a credit. And they usually threw in a few extra bucks to round it to a nice $15 or $25 dollars. They did that no problem.

As for my favorite Modtone - it would either have to be The Munster's or Inspector Gadget.

Hi Jared I was wondering if you had the keypress sequence for push it [salt n pepa]. I had that ringtone on my Nokia, but i just got the Moto V60g w/ Cingular and cant get any that sound halfway decent Any info you provide would be very helpful.. It would actually make my day.. smile

We get a freebie download of our choice? Only thing I know is free is the sample that you can listen to for like 5-10secs. Or is the 1st full download free or something? Anywayz, I think Lurdacris - Southern Hospitality & Rollout are decent. Notorious B.I.G. isnt thaaaat bad either.

 

You get a free 1st of everything. A first ringtone free, a first game free (though the app only lasts a few days).

 

If the app only lasts for a few days, meaning you can only use the ringtone for a few days? Then if you want to keep it, you would have to re-download it and pay the 1.50?
