    Yes, it IS. And it's very present here in SoCal. Some areas of greater L.A. will be 95 degrees tomorrow. It's supposed to be 85 here at the beach. Don't know if it will really get that warm, but it's possible. I'm close to the shore, so it's much cooler here than the rest of the city.

    Please send some of that heat to the Midwest. I live near Lake Huron, which actually keeps me warmer than most of the state. However, not 85 degrees?!! That's like a nice mid-July or august day!

    Sending it your way. I just hope it doesn't cool off too much by the time it gets to you. :D

    Summers aren't even this warm where I am. This is our Santa Ana condition, an off-shore flow that heats up the air as it moves west, towards the coast. Sometimes the beaches are warmer than the inland valleys. When we get this, the temperatures spike, then it cools down again once the high causing it moves east.

    The sea breeze is alive and well, keeping the beach cool. 75 outside right now, unlike the inland valleys, which are closing in on 100 degrees!

    We have an April fools snow storm coming. We could see up to 6 inches,some parts could see a foot. For now it is a rain and snow mix with temps in the mid 30's.

    lol. You know - I was in Lansing in mid-March (14th/15th) and the highs were in the 30's, so I was dreading the trip (weatherwise). It was actually quite pleasant - my trip buddy and I both commented on the lack of a need for a coat without the wind that we have in OK. Your 30's felt like a 50's winter day here!! :)

    But on that note, it is supposed to be in the 70's/80's here this weekend - and so I'm so happy!!!

    Cool and cloudy, in the mid 60s today. A far cry from the mid 80s of Thursday. Great weather, though.

    Correction! 70.3 degrees! That warm front just slid through. The temp went UP 11 degrees in 30 minutes!

    It is currently 90! This is the first day to hit 90 this year. We skipped over spring and went straight to summer. It is supposed to be like this every day this week. Also the humidity is up. :(

    It was 81 here yesterday! We went right to summer. However, the warm front is now gone, and we are back to spring. A cold 52 now....a HUGE 30 degree difference :(

    Gamer I wish 80 was going to be everyday this week here. But, its a no go.

    I wish it was 80 here too. The highs for the next week are going to be in the upper 80s/near 90 everyday!

    An unusually cold system is coming through here tonight and tomorrow. Temps may drop into the upper 40s. This is cold for us in April, especially after several very warm days we've had the past couple of weeks.

    The cool part is the Sierras in central California are getting more snow after the record snowfall they've had this Winter (over 47 feet!). All this does is continue to ease our drought (which the state has officially declared over).

    Donner Pass, in particular, received approximately 740 inches (about 62 feet) of snow this Winter - Massive Snowpack in the Sierra

    I don't know about record for us, but Sunday it is supposed to be in the mid 80s here, 60s at night. That is usually what we see in JULY around here (sometimes the end of June). Not sure if it will break a record. Can't wait. Been waiting for this stuff to come back since last...August!!
