It's been an incredibly beautiful weekend in Southern California. Crystal clear skies, strong breezes, and comfortable temperatures. Today it was 75 degrees. Doesn't get any better than this! But... The next few days will be our Summer preview special: Temps will hover near 90 degrees, if not above 90 later in the week. Nights are still Spring cool, though.
It's getting HOT... Near 90, if not above, all week. Yesterday was a perfect, clear day. This is the one upside to the warm weather...Not a fan of hot weather.
Last week was quite warm (nearly 90). The weekend was much cooler (in the 60s). Today is a comfy 79 degrees, crystal clear and quite breezy. Tomorrow and the weekend will be at or above 90 degrees. The weather-coaster continues.
More of the same... near 90 degree temps during the day and near 70 degree lows at night. No rain forecast until Tuesday.
The heat has arrived and is not leaving anytime soon There is a typo for the low... supposed to be 69 not 96.
It has been cold and showery. Winter isn't quite done with us yet. Should be in the 60s and 70s all week, with rain a strong chance over several days...Go figure. I'll take it as I dislike the heat.
Well Mike...you sound like me...and I am going to sound like you...for once. Yesterday it was 95....VERY humid. Supposed to be the same today....its already 91 at 11:00am. This is July level heat and humidity. I am not complaining
Apparently Winter is going bye-bye and Summer is arriving mad. Temps will be in the 90s by Monday. Oh well, the cool weather was fun while it lasted.
Too humid for me....90° and it feels like 100° I wanna escape to the top of Mount Washington, NH or Mount Mitchell, NC, where it's in the 40s & 50s.
Been stuck in this interminable pattern of heat and rain in Atlanta... came back to Tallahassee to more heat... high is supposed to be 97 tomorrow (yuck)
Considering how blazing hot and humid it is on the East Coast (and of course the steamy South), I can't complain about our weather here in SoCal. Since I live in a valley, it is much warmer here than at the coast and in most of the basin, but it's not anywhere as hot as it could be. High temp today was 88. A bit more humid than normal, but still quite comfortable. The worst we've had so far this Spring/Summer is dry highs in the mid 90s. NO 100s to speak of so far. Not a fan of Summer (love the cold), but I can live with this.
Lets see... Tornado Warning Severe Thunderstorm Warning Flash Flood Warning The only thing we are missing is Blizzard Warning...and with Chicago weather it would not surprise me.
Our weather is typical for this time of year (mid 90s near the coast, thunderstorms in the afternoon, and humid and muggy throughout the day).
Thank you Erik! Safe and sound here. Again, the storms were not as bad as they said they were going to be.
Typical July, mid to upper 90s during the day. Nights are still cool, though, but eventually this will change...
It was 96 at 830am today. Now it is 110 and still climbing. Tonight's low in Phoenix should be around 90
This is the reason I don't want to live in Palm Springs or the Phoenix area... Here in the not-too-interior Southern California, the valley high should be in the mid 90s, but by tomorrow, things should cool off to the comfortable mid 80s. Very nice for July.
