Or not. But I apologize for unintentionally derailing the thread.

LOL. I've seen a number of threads I started turn into something totally off-subject. So, as a gesture of compliance, my Note3 is still on 5.0

Google opened up Android N beta up to the masses. So, the Nexus 6p is on it.

I don't dare. Last year the M preview was absolutely not ready to be a daily driver

I hear you Dmapr. It was one of of the warnings you see when you sign up for the beta....the beta should not be loaded to a daily driver.

New Galaxy S7 running 6.0.1. This is my first Samsung Android device. It feels like a quality piece of hardware.

Installed Android M on my Note 5 and haven't had any issues, aside from learning how it all works. That's more operator issues than OS issues. I did download Package Disabler Pro to get rid of the bloatware. Again, that has nothing to do with the OS. :)

I've never heard of 5.3. Are you sure??? Lollipop went from 5.0 through 5.1.1. After that it is 6.0 Marshmallow

Just installed the Nougat developer preview on my Nexus 5X. Seems like a some nice features were added. I don't use it that much as that phone is not my "daily driver."

I downloaded the ota file and updated manually. According to some Reddit post, frequent checking is a waste of time.

Good deal, it's October 3rd and I'm running October 5th security patches. I guess the Time Machine Effect patch didn't make the cut :D

Note 7 (non-explosive version, LOL) 6.0.1. Last security patch on Aug.1, 2016 which means they've done nothing to update these things from even pre-release times.

And I'm still waiting on Samsung's "unprecedented actions" to "win back" their fan-base. (Hint: At least update this thing to the latest Android OS)

Interesting, my Galaxy S7, running 6.0.1 is on the September 1, 2016, security patch. I guess they had bigger problems to deal with on the Note 7.
