    bobilito,

I couldn't agree more. They do want to show it off. Just get over yourself and put the damn thing on vibrate. A movie runs 2 hours on average, what's the big deal?

I just encountered some of the most ridiculous cell phone use I have ever seen. I went to K-mart to get an air filter for the AC unit. As I was making my way to the checkout, there was a woman standing in the aisle talking on her phone. As I passed, I overheard her asking the person on the other end 'where are you?' they replied, then she says 'well get over here, I'm in the linens section'. I can only conclude the party she was talking to was in another part of the store. Now that's over the top.

I think I am somewhat of a addict and a spy. I hate taking or placing calls in large public places and think other people will think I am very rude. I only do it when necessary. As for the addict... I love the latest phones and technology. I think I am going to have to fight the urge of buying a new 3G phone this next week and stick it out a bit long since it has only been three months since my LG5250.

LOL. I'm also going to have to fight the urge for a new 3G phone. That Sanyo 4900 looks very tempting though. I've had my 2255 for about 9 months. Since I'm a big fan of Kyocera I'm going to wait for the 2345.

I always turn my cell phone off if I am at the movies, whoever is calling me can just leave a message if it's that important and I'll get it when I turn my phone back on.

LOL Ronin what you stated isn't that bad me and my grandmother do that when we go somewhere like the mall, Super Wal-Mart, or etc... and get separted. We'll call each other to see where the other one is or if they need need anything on that side or etc... Hey those super stores are big!

Okay, I could see doing that in a mall, especially if you are at one end and grandma is at the other. But when in the same store? Plus, this wasn't one of the big K-marts, or at least it was the small 'big' k-mart I have ever scene.

Well around here we not only have big Kmarts but we have what they call "Super Stores". Wal-Mart and K-mart has them and they are HUGE and open 24/7. They are mostly in the south it seems like.

yes, I know the ones you are referring to. I'm just saying this particular was 'regular' sized. I have seen those super wal-marts and they are rather large, but I still think it borders on overkill to call someone at the other end of the store. hehe.
