Tony E is thinking about getting a new phone but what phone should he get? I think everyone at WA should help our wonderful Mod choose a new phone.

I vote V3i, though who knows what Motorola will have out later this year..?

I chose the option of waiting for a phone we don't know about yet, but then again i think he'd like the motorola v3x not so sure about the v3i. I think he could do without the iTunes. lol

I voted for a non motorola phone, SORRY Mr. Hooligan.

How about the Nokia N73 scheduled for July 06. A 3.2 Meg camera, WCDMA and quad GSM, an airplane mode and many many more in a slim bar style.

Ok Ok Ok I will admit it, I want one.....:D

That's not a phone, it's a camera that makes phone calls.

I'm in the "wait for a yet-to-be-announced" Motorola camp. They gotta have a 3G flip phone coming to the US market, and I hope soon.

Tony's definitely going flip phone again. I don't doubt that he will stick with Moto or switch camps for Nokia.

Sorry, yes I have a PEBL & love it. Actually I am not a recent convert, I started with moto bag phone, and went through all Moto phones until 2001.

However, there is something about a slim, bar style, quad band Nokia, that makes my pulse race and drives me crazy....:D

I was going to say the same thing. Nokia? Now maybe LG, as I remember Tony having a 6000 around the same time I did.

How could I?!! We all know you're sticking with Moto but since Nokia has been upping the ante with the flood of new flip phones, I wouldn't be surprised if at least one would slightly appeal to you :D.

As for LG, they've released some GSM/UMTS 2100 handsets here in Germany but I haven't seen too many people buy LG.

So since neither one of us has a slim bar style quad band phone does it mean we have settled for the second best?
So is it okay if Nokia makes my pulse race? :D

:D No, I was just making the point that Motorola has a slimmer bar style quad band phone than Nokia does. I'll stick with Motorola clamshells, thank you very much.

Well, I do spend a lot of time messing around with it. Ba-dum-ching!:lmao:

On a serious note, has this thread and poll had any impact, TonyE, or are you still considering the V3x?

Or, better yet, have you purchased a V3x and are, right now, at this very moment, preparing a detailed review with lots of high-res pics?:browani:
