what is the best camera phone for sprint

Only if you can wait for at least as month. Since the new handsets will be coming in the next few months for the holidays, starting I believe around the end of october.

 

Right now the best cameraphone is undoubtedly the Samsung a800. 2mp with autofocus and takes some really amazing pics for a cameraphone. it's not cheap though, running $350 with a 2 yr contract. Coming soon we'll see the Samsung A920, A940, A960. Sanyo will have the 5700 and 9000 as well.

 

I want the blade it is supposed to be coming out soon..

 

If you're looking for a great camera don't go with the LG 225.

 

Do you mean the best camera on a phone or the best phone with a camera? There is a bit of a difference between the two....

Rumors (at SprintUsers) are that the BLADE isn't happening any time soon, so don't hold your breath.

Now: the A800 has the best camera by far. However, if you're going to drop $500 on a phone I'd wait to see what the EV-DO rollout phones are like... and my suspicion is that the A800 will drop in price then, even if the cameras on the other EV-DO phones aren't as good (the 940 is supposed to have an equal/better camera). So if you can hold out for the next 60 days or so, I'd wait.

A couple of other possibilities with decent cameras: the MM-8300 and MM-535.

 

I have the A920 I just got it from my local sprint store and it ROCKS! The camera is clearer than any I have had in the past ( sanyo 8100, 8200 7400 & samsung A900). The phone is just overal GREAT!
