Well, I am now a T-Mobile customer as of today. :)

I am a bit confused though, as all I paid for was the first installment + taxes on my phone out the door. The rep said it had to do with qualifying for the installment plan. But reading up on the new plans on the various forums it sounded as if you pay for the plan, plan & phone taxes, activation fee, & 1st phone installment. Who's Is correct, or what is correct?

I thought the partial first month for your bill is just included with your normal monthly bill, so your first bill is big because it has one month plus the partial month. But when I did the switch to Even More Plus I was an existing customer. So I paid the first installment, and the rest of the changes showed up on my ext bill, including activation.

Then what the rep said and did was right then, thanks!

I didn't have much confidence after she botched my port and didn't want to fix it. Lucky for me I had a great rep in the porting department who fixed everything and gave me a $35 credit. :)
