I drive several vehicles, since we switch off to save miles. Keep in mind my dad works for DaimlerChrysler so we get cars for cheaper 1. (primary) 2003 Dodge Stratus Sedan--Patriot Blue 2. 1999 Dodge Avenger Coupe-- Shark Blue 3. 2003 Dodge Ram-- Silver
I drive a 2003 Infiniti G35 sedan. My wife drives a 2000 Nissan Maxima. She had an Avenger.....not a good car for us - only kept it 3 years.
My ride is a 2000 Volkswagen Golf GLS (4-door). I bought it for the 1.8 litre turbo engine, which is highly tuneable. Mods are: APR chip H&R Coilover Kit (lowered about 1.5") Audi TT front brake upgrade 17" wheel & tire upgrade Techtonics Tuning (TT) stainless steel turbo-back exhaust (includes Borla muffler) German-spec "E-code" headlight assemblies (made by Hella) I don't have any more $$ to throw at this car but if I did happen to stumble upon a spare $6000 (including installation) or so I would have to slap the APR Stage III Turbo Upgrade Kit onto my krazy kar.
What year is your 'Stang? Is it a GT or the 6-banger? Maybe you could get Xzibit to Pimp Your Ride........
I drive a 2002 Ford Explorer 4x4. Red with gray two tone. I have to have the 4x4 for the work our company does in rural areas. Just last week I did some serious mudriding visiting gas wells in West Virginia. My wife has a 2000 Chrylser Town and Country Minivan, or as my son's call it "the loser cruiser." She loves it. My 16 year old son has a 1999 Nissan Pathfinder 4x4. It may be the only Black Pathfinder with light up white fuzzy dice on the rear view mirror.....
Ha, yeah... I really hate that show. Everything is so half asses compared to to that overhaulin' show on TLC. My car is a GT and I've had some fun with N20, high compression and boost, but after some catastrophic engine failure it now just has a 2000 4.6L motor until I finish school. (~295hp naturally aspirated)
I take PMR for what it is: Entertainment. It would be too cool to own that pimped Daihatsu Hijet microvan, imo. I wish they would actually pimp a Volvo like the green car that they show on the opening credits. I think I've seen the TLC show that you're talking about but I forget the title.
some nice cars on here.. i primarily drive a... 2004 Dodge Neon SXT converted into an SRT-4 for thousands less than buying the SRT-4. with more HP too!! also have a 944T that got smashed up a while back but is being fixed my dad and i co-own an Alpha Romeo that is our "show car". i am currently trying to decide between getting a Harley or a Triumph and by the end of the summer i would like to get a Nissan Murano and sell my Neon. (i get bored with things quickly) my dad wants to get a VW Phaeton. i think that would be cool.
Some good choices. The Porsche 944 is still one of the sexiest cars on the street, IMO. Which model Alfa do you co-own? Have you seen Alfisti.net? Have you seen the Alfa Romeo 156 GTA? The Murano is supposed to be a hot rod but not-so-good in the "traditional" SUV role - at least that's what Car and Driver magazine says, FWIW. I would not waste the money on a Phaeton. Get an Audi RS6 instead. Much more stylish but still relatively stealthy.
I drive a 1986 Chevrolet Camaro....red! I love that car. Have had less trouble with it than the 1998 Honda Accord I had. Plus I have no payments! :browani:
Drive a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclpise GST. Black, 5 speed, all custom interior and sound system, rims, ect.. I own a shop so I do all the work myself. But Iam hopeing to get rid of it soon, I want a Mustang Cobra SVT!
69 spider duetto but with a late 70s straight 6, four speed engine customized for the car. its f-ing awesome. never gets driven anymore. i should take it out more often. we put alot into it over the last 5 years. its fun to drive but like i said we never take it out anymore.
I drive an '03 vibe I got in april of '02 can't wait to turn it in in a few months great ride-fun to drive too many first year problems
Me - 2001 Nissan Altima (company car) 1997 Ford F150 XLT Extended Cab (boat puller) Wife - 2000 Audi A6 Quatro
Yeah Baby, I knew there had to be other gear heads here besides me. I know you will find this hard to believe, but I drive a Buick 96 Regal 4 door, leather, all the goodies. And for the phone lovers here (I figure there might be a few), Nokia CARK91H car kit, Antenna Specialist glass mount, and Smooth Talker 3 watt booster. This is great, now I don't have to go to HoFo for car talk anymore.
