I still have my original Nintendo packed away in the closet. After Atari....the Nintendo system was the last one I got/played with growing up. I got too disgusted with the whole gaming scene. A new "better" system was coming out every year....I didn't want to continue sinking money into a system to have it go obsolete the next year Haven't really played games that much since.....well, at least not owning games/systems since.
If you have a fast computer and highspeed internet, then this site is the place I am just a little to slow with my AMD 1900+
I loved the Light Gun with the NES, esp Duck Hunt and Gumshoe. Never had the 7800. Started out with a 2600 and remember begging my parents for a 5200 but they wouldn't get it for me.
The NES was was my first and only game system I had. I liked playing Zelda, Golf, Tecmo Bowl, and a few others.
I still have my Atari 2600 that I got in the early 80's, and my Commodore 64 (with my 1541 disk drive) was a fantastic gaming machine as well. I took the 2600 out of the closet and my nieces and nephew love playing games on it. The 2600 games are so "retro" now...
OMFG!!! How could I forget Dr. Mario! My mom & I would play it for hours. A friend of hers got her hooked on it, then she got me hooked.
