The cheapest that I have seen in my area is $2.89 for 87 octane. The station that is closest to me is $2.93 for 87 octane.
Chepest I saw around my area yesterday was $2.81 and the most expensive, as always, is Chevron with $2.99
Chevron in our area is also the most expensive. Right now, I believe it is around $3.00 for 87 octane at the Chevron here. The Chevron that is about two miles from my campus is $2.95 for 87 octane, and it is located about a mile from the interstate.
I know I find it very interesting how Chevron can be the most expensive but still get more business than other gas stations. At an intersection here in town, there is a Chevron on one side of the road that charges $2.99 and a Sinclair on the other side that charges $2.83...and the Chevron always has more business. I would think that if people just make the trip across the street, even if they travel on the side the Chevron is on and save money, Chevron would start lowering their prices if they don't have much business, but this allows them to have gas this expensive.
2.46 for the cheap stuff at raceway on western ave in Knoxville. cheapest ive seen in a LONG time. I was excited.
Man, I'm jealous....$2.25 in Texas, $2.46 in Knoxville...lucky you guys. But I guess I shoudn't complain as people in other places of the country are paying more than I am.
Here's a chart I made. Looks like gas prices for you have fallen tremendously while they have mostly been steady here.
Wonder why it is not dropping where you are at. It is even lower in AR and OK than it is here. It sounds like they want you all to pay-for-it in more ways than one!
Kind of wish I had my Honda Aspencade back. It only held 5 gallons, but I could get 60 miles to the gallon and talk about FUN to ride. Waho!!
Do not know where these dumba***s get their information, but. Just read an article showing the 'cheapest' and 'highest' priced gas states. The lowsest state was higher than OK and TX. TX wasn't even on the list, even though, our prices was almost .20 cents lower than most of those on the list! Still paying only $2.25 @ Shell. Been that way for almost a week now. CHEAPEST States per gallon: #10) Indiana @ $2.43 #09) Michigan @ $2.43 #08) Minnesota @ $2.43 #07) Kansas @ $2.42 #06) South Carolina @ $2.42 #05) Kentucky @ $2.39 #04) Iowa @ $2.38 #03) Oklahoma @ $2.36 #02) Missouri @ $2.32 #01) Ohio @ $2.39
2.09 TB&G Oklahoma City - NW Wed 6:02 AM keith35 39th & Ann Arbor this is the cheapest ive found around okc.
I paid $2.90 for 87 octane when I got gas yesterday afternoon. I went by Shell last night and it went down to $2.87 for 87 octane. The cheapest in my area is $2.84 for 87 octane.
paid $2.23 @ Shell. Lot's of stations are still running up to $2.79 for 87 octane. The close to town you get, the higher it gets.
Good hell, $2.01 for gas at Sam's Club ha? Here Sam's club Was $2.78 today and I got some gas at Albertson's for $2.69, which is the cheapest this area has seen for a long time. Most other stations, including Sinclair and Chevron are still as high as $2.95.
WOW! That is low. We are still around $2.20 a gallon for 87 octane. Hope we get to around $2 OR lower, also.
On Friday, I was filling up my rental in Salt Lake City, and paid $2.89 for 87 octane, then I got home and filled up my car for $1.99 :loony:
I know. Gas Prices here are ridiculously high still. There was an article in the S.L. Tribune on Friday I think and they made up excuses why gas prices here are still so high.
Yesterday, I paid $2.83 for 87 octane. The city north of me (about 30-35 minute drive) is between $2.67-$2.79 for 87 octane.
I saw gas today in Leesburg for $2.35 at the Sunoco. It was $2.42 at Getty in Sterling, and Shell was $2.49. -Jay
