Yesterday morning the HESS station in Spartanburg was 2.12, now it's 2.29. Across the street at Hot Spot it was 2.19 yesterday, now it's 2.30.
Wow, quite an increase for your area within one day. I just had to fill some gas today at a Mobil on the highway for $2.459 a gallon.
Most everyone else other than U.S. uses the metric system, so it has to be per liter at that price. It is roughly 3.785 liters to a gallon, around $3.30'ish if converted to per gallon for us.
Sorry, that's in litres. EDIT: TnA2xXtReM has that correct. Everywhere else other then the USA uses the metric system.
$2.29 at HESS in Spartanburg. I'll be enjoying my weekend in Isle of Palms, near Charleston SC, 3 hour drive. Also I'll take a trip to SF California on Aug 19.
$2.23 when I left Spartanburg (Westgate Mall area). It was $2.39 - $2.45 where I was in Charleston / Isle of Palms earlier today. Also got sunburned pretty good.
Yup travelling is fun, and I get to take lots of pictures along the way. Be sure to check out all my Cell Tower Pix From all my travels, I'll should posting more when I get back from California. Also, I'll about to post some tower pictures from Lowcountry South Carolina from this weekend.
$3.29 for premium at 76 when I filled up on 8/10, but I've been getting killer mileage. I've been driving slower and not flooring the engine with my lead foot (as I normally do) and am about to hit 400 miles on this tank of gas (with about 15% of gas left in the tank). I have a 2000 Acura TL (V6), which is not as fuel-efficient as a 4 cylinder would be, but I can't complain.
$2.76 for Prem, $2.66 for Mid and $2.52 for reg at Exxon. And I do mis my 1999 TL. Had that till mid 2002 and had to let go of it as In three years I topped the 100K mile level and moved on to an Audi. But I have to say, I was getting very good mileage with it (I always do because I make sure that I do not have a lead foot too). The TL for sure made better MPG than the A4 (3.0 V6 Qtro.)
In 9 years, I've managed to top only 72,000 miles...I haven't driven it much the past couple of years, and with the way gas has been, I'm glad I didn't, (though the parking lot known as L.A. kept me off the road too).
And I went from one extreme to the other. The Audi now only has 27.5K miles on it. Mileage wise I get around 3 MPGs less than I did with the TL. City wise, you can say, I am getting about 7 less.
$3.13 for premium at ARCO in Ontario, CA (cheaper because ONLY debit cards are allowed). On a side note, I managed to eke out 426.1 miles on my last tank of gas. This is the most I've ever gotten on any car I've owned. I could have made it to over 450 miles if I let the tank go dry, but I know better than to damage my car like that...Still, not bad MPG for a V6.
Holding steady here The latest From Sunoco in Buffalo 87 Octane - $2.77.9 89 Octane - $2.89.9 93 Octane - $2.99.9
$2.57/gallon for 87 octane at RaceTrac. Other stations are selling 87 octane for $2.59/gallon or higher.
$3.09 in Scotts Valley & Santa Cruz, California (Shell Gas). I'll be back on the East Coast on 8-24, where it's about 75 cents cheaper where I'll be.
