$3.76/gallon at Mobil for 87 octane. We filled up our Sprinter bus last Friday, and Diesel was $4.45/gallon at Mobil.
I got gas yesterday it went down to 3.39 from 3.47. Wow, that much for Diesel Gamer, I bet you wish you had the price that's down here, its 3.80 a gallon. 65 cents does make a difference. lol.
I wish our Diesel was that cheap. We filled up our cars a few days ago. Diesel at Hess was $4.33/gallon, but we usually don't get as good of mileage when we buy gas or Diesel from Hess. Due to Ike (especially if it hits any of the refineries), oil and gas will most likely go up over the next few days (at least that is what people are predicting), so that is why we filled up our vehicles late last week. We haven't seen Diesel below $4 since at least early summer if not before.
Wow, that sucks, I saw another station, i forget which one, but it was at 3.79 for Diesel and 3.37 for 87. I highly doubt gas will go up that much, oil right now is trading at 102 a barrel and demand is low also. It might go up a few cents, but I doubt a big jump.
$3.49 last night in Emmaus, Pa. I remember when I started driving, gas was 87 cents per gallon!! That was in 1996
I paid yesterday 3.61...when I started driving it was 50 cents, now I am older but only 49 yrs. young
Crude is down to $100 per barrel, but the prices have gone up this week. Now it's as low as $3.39, not $3.29 like last week. Last time crude was $100, wasn't gas like $2.75 per gallon on average nationwide...? After Hurricane Ike I hope the prices go way back down to what they were last time crude was this "cheap".
I have no clue, I just started looking at the markets. I was to young and really didn't care, lol. I doubt the prices will go down, even though oil is low, OPEC is saying they're reducing there output by 500,000 barrels a day. Gas here went up to 3.45 for 87. I just hope we find something that's cheap and plentiful so we won't have to rely on oil.
Well our gas 2 days ago was overall around $3.39 - $3.45. Now it has skyrocketed to $3.99, with others even higher. I heard one station in Greenville is currently up to $4.75 This average is much higher than California overall.... Well I was just very lucky to find a $3.69 at HESS on US-29 in Spartanburg. A whole bunch of stations (like 70 %) were out of gas as well.... I really don't get why only the SE goes up in price (Georgia is now the highest). We are closer to refineries in Philly & NYC than those in Houston & New Orleans. Also this is definitely price gouging, because the crude oil prices haven't changed, if anything that's gone down. It's still $101 per barrel as of right now, how do they get away with this???? Gas Gouging in the Southeast States Page 1 Gas Gouging in the Southeast States Page 2
Well I drove by one station tonight and it went up from $3.76 to $3.79. Also, I am not sure about SC KyleAndMelissa22, but in my area (and I assume the rest of Florida also), there are certain numbers that you can call in order to report price gouging if you suspect that the station is doing so.
Last weekend, stations here in Lansing, MI were around $3.60 Today most stations have decided to gouge at about $4.19
Yeah, I heard that gas in the SE is at around 5 dollars a gallon. I doubt its price gouing, the refineries here in Texas have been offline for about a week because of Gustav, and it might not be a few more days before they come back online because of no power. KyleAndMelissa22 even though you might be closer to the refineries in the north, its up to the store who they have a contract with for their supply. Gas hasn't gone up that much here, its only at 3.45 a gallon.
Nice! It's currently $4.29 all along interstate 85 in Gaffney. and about $4.49 everywhere else in Gaffney. However we just filled up the other car at $3.75 at HESS on US-29 in Spartanburg, yesterday this same station was $3.69, and this is the cheapest station in my area. HESS is a company based out of NYC, so perhaps their gas is coming from refineries in that area, which is why it's cheaper (my guess). This HESS station was out of Plus & Premium, but not regular
I guess I spoke to soon, gas here went up to 3.65 here but at shell. At some of the other stations its at 3.50. Lol, yeah, that might be why its a little cheaper. I willing to bet that gas will stay around this high for a couple of weeks, and then finally come down.
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (SymbianOS/9.1; U; en-us) AppleWebKit/413 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/413 es70) $3.45 for 87 @ Hess in Quakertown
Paid $3.66 per galon for the premium and this is not in the US but in Lebanon. I honestly can not beleive that it is cheaper here than back at home and the prices here include lots of taxes.
