Wow what a difference in CA. When I left SC a few days ago it was $3.62 in Gaffney. Right now I'm in Downtown SF and the lowest I've seen in this area is $4.21 in Santa Cruz and $4.57 in Palo Alto! Even on the same street corner there could be a 25 cent difference between 2 different stations.
Well to drive down to get the prices that you get, at least for me, it would probably cost me more for gas usage to get there and back than the price difference. So a price difference of 10 cents and 15 gallons would add up to $1.50 while going and coming back would probably spend about a Gallon. Well I can say that starting Friday, my cost will $0 per gallon as I will be gone for 3 months (lots of savings LOL).
WOW just saw a station in Menlo Park, CA (Phillips 66) charging $4.65 . Up until a few days ago I never saw a posted price more than $4.00 (in SC / NC)
WOW I'm in Bridgeport, CA right now (near Mono Lake & Yosemite NP) Gas is $5.09 and I'll be paying that later today At least I'll be back in SC in 2 days, where gas is $3.50.
