Well even though the view is nice in St. John, VI, I still rather pay Florida gas prices. Regular jumped today to $4.92/gallon and diesel jumped to $5.30/gallon.
$5.30 for diesel. Have you considered making your own biodiesel from waste french fry oil from restaurants to power the tour van? -Jay
I paid 3.91 for regular. Glad I stopped when I did, because down the street it was at 3.95. Those 4 cents really make a difference
Wirelessly posted (Walkguru's: Opera/9.50 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/4.1.11328/534; U; en)) 374 at murphy at 164th and n western.
Early this morning, was waching a movie that dates back to 1989 and one drive by scene was by a station were it showed regular was going for $0.89. Oh do I miss those days. @ Sheets on rt 50 in Chantily regular goes for $4.00
Well luckily we aren't paying those prices at home. $5.30/gallon for diesel is how much it costs in St. John, VI (since that is where I am currently at on vacation). At home, the last time we saw diesel, it was selling at $4.79/gallon. I don't know if biodiesel would work. Our tour van has a Mercedes engine so it might be tricky.
Wirelessly posted (Walkguru's: Opera/9.50 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/4.1.11328/542; U; en)) 3.96 at bevs i got one and a half gal. for the scooter.
Up to $3.79 in Gaffney, but there is one nearby Exxon (I-85 near Exit 92) that is $3.85, the highest I've seen it here. I could still get it for $3.73 at HESS on US-29 in Spartanburg.

Still got it today for $3.73 at HESS on US-29 in Spartanburg, SC. The highest I've paid ever to this day was $3.79 last week here in Gaffney.

Wirelessly posted (Walkguru's: Opera/9.50 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/4.1.11328/542; U; en)) i paid 3.849 at a shell station on n. meriadian. in okc.
LOL!! Let me guess - NW Expressway and Meridian??? Across from Hefner golf course, basically? I've been known to drive all the way over there for less expensive gas and Girl Scouts "Thin Mints". (Couldn't find them in the Wal-Mart or Crest parking lots. )
guilty as charged. i was trying to run the scooter low on gas and guess what i ran out, and had to push it for a whole block. now i know how much it holds. 1.771 gal.
$3.99 in West Chester, PA can someone explain to me why Diesel is more expensive than petrol in this contry?
You're getting more carbon, and less hydrogen--a less volatile mix of hydrocarbons. You get much more energy oxidizing C to CO2 than H2 to H2O. You're getting benzene, toluene (methyl-benzene), and other multi-ring compounds like naphthalene in the mix: C6H6 C6H5-CH3 H4C6=C4H4 (two C are common to both six-carbon rings) or C10H8 This explains the soot in the exhaust, not enough oxygen leaves unburned carbon particles. Your basic hydrocarbons are the alkanes and iso-alkanes: C8H18; C6H13-(CH3)2 or H3C-C5H10-(CH3)2 (same); H3C-C3H6-C-(CH3)3 octane; iso-octane or 2-methylheptane; tertiary-methyl-pentane or 2,2-dimethylhexane It's similar for the alkenes and the alkynes, with double and triple carbon-carbon bonds. (It's hard to do chemical formulas without subscriptiing, but I hope you get the idea).(It's hard to organic chemistry without structural formulas.) My multiple spaces, for separation, have been compressed into one space each, as seen in the preview. COtech
$4.07/gallon for 87 octane. On the plus side, I am glad to be back home after going on vacation. I rather pay these prices than pay St. John, Virgin Island gas prices of $4.92/gallon for 87 octane.
just gassed up the scooter at 164 and north western for 3.71 at murphy usa 6637. 1.306 gal., cost 4.86.
my scooter was on e this morning so drove 10 miles to wellston, to gas up. paid 3.84 at bev's. its 3.47 on the south side. so my buddy told me.
